Membership Renewal Process |
| The Sacramento Walking Sticks renews memberships on a monthly basis, much like a magazine subscription. The month you join the club becomes the month your renewal is due. The Membership Committee does its work on or around the 15th of each month to send out renewal notices. You should receive your first renewal email 3 months before your renewal month, a second email 2 months before, the first snail-mail letter 1 month before, the 2nd snail-mail letter the month of, and, if you haven't renewed by then, a Removal letter for the month after (and you are removed from the Active Roster). |

| As soon as you renew your membership, the process stops and you should receive no more reminders. That is, until your next renewal month/year rolls around. |

| You are encouraged to renew for as many years as you can afford. This saves the all-volunteer Membership Committee lots of time in the future. The table below shows the very reasonable rates for multi-year renewals. You will even save yourself time and money since you won't have to renew your membership each year. |

| You are also encouraged to renew as soon as you receive an email, hopefully, the first one. This also saves the all-volunteer Membership Committee lots of time and the club treasury from the costs of snail-mail postage, printing, paper, and envelopes. |

| Early renewal will NEVER reset your renewal month as long as you are a member in good standing (dues paid). Your renewal month will remain the same no matter how early you renew your membership. |
